Skimmers and overflows

When applying the skimmer water filtering principle, the equipment can be placed both above or under the water level. The number of skimmers and drains is determined by the volume and shape of the swimming pool.

When applying the overflow water filtering principle, the water level compensation reservoir (the overflow reservoir) should be placed under the water level of the swimming pool. Water from the overflow duct gets to the overflow reservoir by gravity. The length and location of the overflow duct depend on the shape and volume of the pool.
